September 15, 2014 – With the summer surf still pumping and the world’s best surfers in town for the Hurley Pro, Dragon opened its doors to all hosted a very stoke-filled open house on Wednesday, September 10. With the new offices located a stone’s throw from Trestles, Dragon Alliance is excited to be back in the San Clemente lineup, where it all began back in 1993.
“San Clemente is the original home of Dragon, so moving back here is like coming home. We are looking forward to this new chapter and are positioned to grow in the eyewear market,” says Will Howard, Dragon founder and CEO.
Sticking out in the heady crowd of friends and family were many of Dragon’s long time team riders like Mick Fanning, Rob Machado, Ace Buchan, and Owen Wright, moto crew Jason Anderson and Nate Adams, snowboarders Blake Paul, and Alex Yoder, along with ski icon Chris Benchetler.
“Great vibes here tonight, it’s good to see everybody,” said defending world champ Mick Fanning. “The new spot is amazing.”
The new offices will provide an exciting, creative space for our team, and with so much of the actions sports industry based in Orange County, the opportunities for collaboration, more rider input, and more involvement in the community are incredible.
