“With all the excitement surrounding the reunion of retailers and manufacturers coming back together for Surf Summit 13, the top-notch educational agenda and the unique opportunity to mix and mingle with top industry executives, every surf retailer should plan on registering for Surf Summit this year,” said Melissa Clary, BRA Executive Director. “It is the single most important industry event of 2010 in regards to your business and livelihood. BRA has worked hard to keep the cost of retail attendance as affordable as possible with BRA members receiving a special retailer discount. BRA members should take advantage of the reduced registration rates and this unique event to build friendships and relationships that will benefit you for years to come.”
Each year, Surf Summit attendees address important issues facing the surf industry, share ideas, network and help shape the future of the industry. The format for Surf Summit 13 will be similar to years past with surf sessions in the morning, educational seminars in the afternoon, and attendee dinners and events at night.
SIMA and BRA will debut two new evening activities at this year’s Surf Summit that are sure to unite manufacturers and retailers, as well as inspire some fun competition. On Thursday evening, BRA will present a one-of-a-kind industry experience: Lucha Libre, A Battle on the Beach. Complete with a beachside dinner, Mexican wrestling themed games and competition, and entertainment, Lucha Libre will cap off the evening with a night on the town. On the final night, SIMA will conclude the conference with a Closing Ceremonies to celebrate yet another successful gathering of the tribe.
