Wanted: SURFER Editorial and Video Interns

SURFER Magazine is looking for qualified interns for the spring semester. If you’re CURRENTLY a college student interested in getting into the magazine biz and you meet the qualifications below, you could be eligible for an opportunity to intern at the biggest surf magazine on the planet.

Requirements:
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT FOR YOUR INTERNSHIP
You must be majoring in a related field (Communication, Journalism, English, Media, Video, Film, etc.)
You must have extensive surf knowledge and a passion for surfing
You must be Internet-savvy, responsible, and timely
You must be able to come into the San Clemente office at least twice a week

Duties will include:

Editorial: Fact-checking, writing for the website, transcription, research, editing, and organizational tasks.
Video: Assisting with production and editing tasks including filming, logging, digitizing, editing, motion graphics, studio lighting, and music licensing. Basic knowledge of Final Cut Pro and/or After Effects required.
