The idea of scoring almost seems nostalgic. Like it just doesn’t happen anymore, and that these days you have to settle for waves that are too crowded, too high tide, too windy, too mushy or too walled in the same way that someone who married the wrong person eventually accept a lifetime of mediocrity.
