Sometimes, it’s less about the story you tell and more about how you spin it. Our new Tiger VS Bear is one such case. Ian Gouveia and Mateia Hiquily tell the same forehand story, but with different spins. Ian takes off on a wave in the morning dew of Huntington Beach and slings a fully rotated slob beside the pier. Meanwhile, Mateia finds a bowl in the sunshine of Macaronis and kicks his tail at the moon. It’s improbably tweaked and we’re not exactly sure how the ligaments in his knees didn’t evaporate. Are you a doctor? Do you know? If not, could you at least tell us whose air you liked better?
