GOLD COAST, Queensland/Australia (Wednesday, February 16, 2011) –For the first time in the show's history, the ASP World Surfing Awards will host a special "Blue Carpet Show" event prior to the awards show. The Blue Carpet Show will be an opportunity for fans and enthusiasts to see their favourite male and female surfing heroes arrive for the biggest night in world surfing.

Taking place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday, February 24, 2011, the ASP World Surfing Awards will see the ASP award 75 double passes to the Blue Carpet Show for the first people to email in and request.

To register for this historic event, follow these steps:
1) Email with the subject line "Blue Carpet Show".
2) Provide your name, mailing address and contact number.
3) NOTE: The ASP World Surfing Awards is on the Gold Coast of Australia. Please ensure you'll be able to attend. Passes will be for YOU + 1
