Byron Bay Early Intervention Surfboard Auction

7'6 Mini-Mal Surfboard Shaped by Murray Bourton of Pipedream for Base Surfboards

Byron Shire Early Childhood Intervention Service is a Charity dedicated to supporting kids under 6 years old in the Byron Shire who have a disability or long term learning difficulties. The Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and multitude of other services we provide are absolutely vital for the long-term future and prospects of these kids and their families. But - you guessed it - the Service is desperately underfunded by Government.

Over the last five years Byron Early Intervention has been struggling to maintain its service - and we are trying to build our fundraising strength because we don't ever want to turn a child in need away. Last year the amazingly generous BASE surfboards donated this brand new, custom shaped MURRAY BOURTON for PIPEDREAM board to us for the super-talented competitors in the 2010 Gold Coast Quicksilver Pro comp to sign for a charity auction. The outstanding response was overwhelming, with Kelly Slater, Jordy Smith, Mick Fanning, Taj Burrow, Dane Reynolds (currently ranked in order 1-5 in the world), Andy Irons (RIP)and many others adding their tags to the board. Please BID GENOROUSLY to help us raise as much money as we possibly can to help our kids get the support they need.
