(Halifax, NS) - The Canadian Surf Film Festival (CSFF) kicks off its second annual event this Thursday, September 29, welcoming special guests and an exciting new sponsorship by tech leader, Google.
"It's a real vote of confidence to have the support of an operation like Google," says CSFF Development Director, Keith Maddison. "And to be able to partner with them on their journey with pro surfer Raph Bruhwiler, who we're hosting at our Festival this year, is an amazing opportunity for the Canadian Surf Film Festival."
Google recently partnered with professional surfer Raph Bruhwiler, using the Google Search Story campaign to track his discovery of yet un-surfed waves on Google Earth. Bruhwiler is a guest at this year's CSFF to present West Coast Surf Trip, his submission to the Short Film Challenge, as well as the film, Quiksilver Cypher Challenge.
