This past weekend, Neutrogena and Roxy teamed up to bring awareness to skin health with a weekend of surf, sun, music, wining, and dining in Malibu.
Media and celebrities were privy to a Friday evening dinner at Gladstones in Pacific Palisades, followed by an intimate performance by Costa Rican singer/songwriter Debi Nova. On Saturday, slathered in Neutrogena products, guests hit the water at Sunset Beach in Malibu for a day of surf lessons with Malibu Makos Surf Camp and Roxy team riders Jen Smith and Amy Murphree.
Neutrogena's Choose Skin Health campaign is about spreading awareness about the national skin cancer epidemic. Skin cancer is on the rise with a record 2 million cases diagnosed annually, but most Americans are still not following dermatologists' prevention advice including proper sunscreen application and regular skin cancer checks.
