The world of surfing is a hard one to make it in, we all know the harsh reality. In a sport where there are millions of patrons, only thirty four chosen few can truly call themselves elite professional competitors.
Just a few weeks ago at the 2016 season’s commencement at Snapper Rocks, a name that has floated around the industry made his presence very well known with a semi-final finish and an assortment of big names in his path. Stu Kennedy, the Cinderella story out of Lennox Head, has given his career an aggressive jolt of life and revived hope into his dream of making a living as a professional surfer – but the road to where he is today hasn’t exactly been a cakewalk.
