Week in Review has been on vacation a work trip. Here are some of the things that happened in its absence.

At Least It’s Not Jello Wrestling
World Tour surfer Paige Hareb has been training to be a boxer. She will fight fellow blonde New Zealander, TV reporter Haley Holt, on December 3 in a charity boxing match. It’s safe (and sad) to say, more people will probably watch this than the Women’s World Tour event in New Zealand.

The Bottom of the Event-Sponsorship Barrel
Kolohe Andino was crowned the champion of the “Fantastic Noodles Kangaroo Island Pro.” Yes, Fantastic Noodles. As in the noodles, in a cup. But the noodles gave Kolohe $20,000 $30,000, and no one is complaining.

A fantastic Fantastic Noodle trophy and check.

Oh, Goatee
It’s still unclear why people believe animals want to surf.

Sticky Dream Cream
(I’d recommend not Googling that one.) Last week, Sex Wax introduced a new line of wax, “Sticky Dream Cream,” that has a level of stickiness reported to be “obscene.”

Oh Sex Wax, you and your double entendres.

People Who Don’t Know What They’re Talking About
I wish I could say this was a parody.

Blow-Up Dolls
Alex Gray’s recently launched blog (everyone’s doing it), Turkeymelt.com (Yes, Turkey. Melt.), featured this little flat-day fun video adventure.

Another “Surf” Car
A USA Today article this week claimed this new Land Rover is “perfect for surfing royalty.” I’m not really sure what that means, but this car may or may not be better than this gem of a “surf car”.

Queen Surf Barbi's dream car.
