On The Road With Corey Wilson: South Africa, Part 3 – The best is for last

The best is for last

Corey Wilson is the whole package. Raised by the very great and very handsome pharmacist, Mark Wilson, there are very few things that Corey cannot do. Using a camera to make a road trip through South Africa seem like a slice of earthly heaven is not one of them.

If you’ve been following this site and Corey’s travels, you must’ve already seen part one and part two of Corey’s trip through SA. Here’s the final chapter. Above, you’ll see the photos. Below, you’ll find a collection of random memories made by Corey on this leg of the trip.

-It was heavy going on a trip around South Africa right after Mick had been attacked by a shark. Nobody was too excited to get in the water.

-Owen met a girl at a Ben Howard concert and she was ridiculously hot. She came and hung out with us pretty much everyday.

-You had to hike for about 30 minutes to get to that super offshore wave.

-I almost stepped on a very big snake.

-At some point, we saw sketchy people stealing metal off a broken shipwreck.

-The water was absolutely freezing and Owen and Wilko were wearing 2mm wetsuits. They put thick vests underneath them to stay warm. When they got out of the water I literally though Wilko had hypothermia. He was white and shivering like I’ve never seen before.

-We celebrated a little too hard the last night at a bar with the most hot girls I’ve ever seen in one place. It was pretty much heaven.
