Currently, the water in Southern California is reading 78 degrees, there are North swells hitting Hawaii, and Kanye West is running for president. What this world is coming to? We’re not entirely sure. But we are sure that the first two things don’t bother us much - please, Mother Nature, keep it coming. And while you’re at it, you think you could bump up that water temp a few more degrees and maybe shift those off-season swells a few degrees west? That’d be much appreciated.

In the meantime, enjoy these images of Hawaii last week because they’re very rare - like, high-fiving a snow leopard rare. And while you still may not be able to wrap your head around the fact that a self-absorbed hip-hop artist might overtake our nation’s presidency from The Donald in 2020, understand that this year could be a very, very good year to go surfing in the Pacific. -Dayton Silva
