LandScape Altered: Episode 1

The Kustom Airstrike is now as rich as the Billabong XXL Awards or an ASP World Tour event — and so, fittingly, there are soldiers of fortune chasing the coin. Like the big-wave crew, these aerialists risk bone and tendon to land a winning clip, now more than ever like skaters on a halfpipe or handrail. Flaring up this hard is dangerous business. In Landscape Altered, the new webisode series from Kai Neville in partnership with SURFING Magazine, Kai brings his widely-imitated but never-recreated brand of surf cinematography to the hunt for Airstrike gold. In Episode 1: Mitch, Marzo, Kerr, Davies and Chippa go to work at an onshore, off-season righthander in Indonesia. Spins, flips and spills abound. Stay tuned for exclusive new episodes as they’re released.
