Filipe Toledo
Back-to-back World Surf League World Champion Filipe Toledo is one of the fastest and most electrifying surfers in the world, with 17 Championship Tour wins under his belt.
Originally from Brazil, Toledo now calls San Clemente, California, home. After a decade of nonstop travel and competition (while grappling with his mental health at times), Toledo decided to take 2024 off from full-time competition so that he could focus on his family. He did, however, still compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics at Teahupo’o in Tahiti.
2025 is poised to be a big year for Toledo, as he will look to shake off the competitive rust and regain the form that netted him two consecutive world titles in 2022 and 2023.
