In October of 2012, Kepa Acero ventured to Angola alone in search of waves. On the trip, Acero discovered a perfect African sandbar with untold potential, but didn’t score a big swell. A year later, Acero and Dane Gudauskas returned to the desolate coastline as a massive swell pulsed through the Atlantic.
