Random happenings in surf for the Week of August 5

Celebrating the 100th Week in Review!

Jazzy Wipeouts

“Don’t not paddle hard” and other ways you don’t surf Teahupoo.

“If the SAMS-enhanced wetsuits do in fact deter sharks, that would be good. If they somehow attract sharks' attention, that would be bad,” they explained.

Extreme Mice!

Rare Subway Shark Spotted

Style For Days

Here, Luke Wilson shows Helen Hunt how to surf on the set of their new movie, Ride, the synopsis of which is: “A mother travels cross-country to California to be with her son after he decides to drop out of school and become a surfer.” Fun!

That Sterling, So Silly
